Traditional, metal braces have stood the test of time and, to date, are still a reliable orthodontic treatment to address crowding, crooked teeth, protruding teeth, bite issues and narrow arches. We use the reputable Roth and Damon systems which consist of high-grade, stainless steel brackets and wires.
Crowding or crooked teeth happens when there isn’t enough space in your mouth for all your teeth to fit properly. This cn cause teeth to overlap or twist which can look unattractive. It also makes it hard to clean them and leads to problems like cavities and gum disease. This is the most common reason why patients opt for Invisalign and results tend to be faster than braces.

Your orthodontic journey will start with your first consultation. We will dedicate time to listen to your concerns and your preferred outcome, and then recommend the best orthodontic treatment plan. A set of full orthodontic records will be taken including photos, x-rays and a digital scan of your teeth. These records will be tracked and diagnosed to assist the dentist to thoroughly plan the stages of treatment.
The dentist will bond the brackets and fix the wire onto your teeth. You will be provided strict instructions including how to take care of your braces and teeth.
You will be required to visit your dentist every 4-6 weeks for adjustments to the brackets and/or wires.
After you have completed your orthodontic treatment, you will be provided with fixed and removable retainers and at-home ZOOM teeth whitening kit.
